Thomas E. Strauss, Inc. Community Programs

TES, Inc. has a long-standing history of giving back to the community. Our focus is on supporting kids in our community and combating food insecurity. Over the past two years, our team has collected books for the local library, food for the pet shelter, gifts for the Salvation Army Angel Tree, and more. Our businesses have contributed gift boxes, meal certificates, and hotel stays to a variety of non-profits and schools. Additionally, we have proudly supported organizations like Homefields, Conestoga Valley Education Fund, Lancaster County Food Hub, and Lancaster Farmland Trust. Many of our team members also volunteer as school mentors, and serve as board members and advisors to local community organizations.

In 2023, we were honored with the Wilmer S. Lapp Community Service Award from the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association (PRLA) and were named Disability Employer of the Year by the Lancaster County Employment Coalition.

Dine-For-A-Cause

For non-profits, school organizations, and sports groups looking to raise money, we do offer Dine-For-A-Cause Days at our restaurants on select Mondays and Tuesdays. If this is something you are interested in, please email us at marketing@tesincpa.com with your organization’s information, month you are looking at and which restaurant.

Jar Good Fundraisers

Looking for a new way raise money for your school, non-profit or sports group? Locally Made Food Shop offers jar good fundraising. Sell jams, fruit butters and pickled items, and for each item sold a dollar amount will be raised for your organization. If this is something you are interested in, please email us at marketing@tesincpa.com with your organization’s information (name, contact name, email and phone number) and we will send on the information on Jar Good Fundraisers.

Donations

Looking for a donation for your non-profit or school group for raffle prizes or silent auction? As an active community participant, we are dedicated to assisting community organizations that hold non-profit 501(c)(3) status and focus on K-12 education; community and economic development; sports, health and social services; and music and art for youth. We do offer meal certificates, gift boxes and pie certifications to help your community organization. We do ask that your request is received 45 days in advance. We cannot accept request for sponsorship or monetary donations, 3rd party or organizational campaigns, individuals or individual pursuits, fraternal, labor or political groups. Please email marketing@tesincpa.com with your organization’s and event’s information as well as what you are requesting. Please note that due to the volume of request that we receive, we can’t not fulfill or respond to each request.
